Overview

The Director of Operational Excellence is responsible for directing a business-critical function through lower management levels, integrating multiple disciplines and departments to achieve strategic goals, enhancing productivity, and fostering a culture of operational excellence.

In Short

  • Establish and implement operational excellence strategies and roadmaps.
  • Direct cross-functional teams for process improvements.
  • Identify, analyze, and optimize key processes using Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Facilitate workshops and training on continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align initiatives with business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Analyze operational data for trends and opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
  • Drive automation and digital transformation efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in operational excellence or process improvement.
  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills in data analysis and process mapping.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and facilitate change.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience with process automation and operational analytics is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and data analysis software.
  • Strong knowledge of all aspects of Operations.
  • Language skills in English mandatory.
