Senior Data Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Design and implement scalable data models for insights into drug prices.
• Develop processes to improve 3rd party data usability.
• Implement data quality principles for reliability.
• Enforce data governance policies for compliance.
• Document data engineering processes and models.
• Mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• 4+ years of data engineering experience with an advanced degree or 5+ years with an undergraduate degree.
• Expertise in data warehouse technologies (e.g., Snowflake).
• Strong skills in Python/PySpark and SQL.
• Experience in object-oriented languages (C#/C++, Go, Java, Scala).
• Mastery of data modeling and database design principles.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, DBT).
• Experience with the entire data lifecycle.
• Contributions to data processing solutions.
• Ability to deliver impactful outcomes.
• Track record of improving the skills of other engineers.
• Start-up and healthcare experience is desirable.
