Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with 7+ years of experience in modern data engineering practices. In this hybrid role based in Bangalore, you will be part of a collaborative team environment, designing and optimizing robust, scalable data pipelines to meet complex business needs, particularly in Finance and high-volume environments such as Retail.

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines using Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Data Bricks, and Kafka.
• Assemble and process large, complex datasets from disparate sources.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders.
• Optimize data delivery and automate manual processes using SQL, Python, and PowerShell.
• Integrate and orchestrate finance-related data solutions.
• Build and implement real-time streaming data workflows using Kafka.

• Contribute to architectural decisions and technology evaluations.
• Implement CI/CD practices and build data validation checks.
• Follow and enforce best practices for development frameworks.

Requirements

• 7+ years of data engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Data Bricks, and Apache Kafka.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and PowerShell.
• Solid understanding of modern data platforms and architectures.
• Proven ability to build performant, scalable, and secure data solutions.
• Experience with large-volume datasets and real-time messaging systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning expertise.
