Director, Payroll - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a strategic and forward-thinking leader to join us as a Director, Payroll. In this role, you’ll own, improve, and manage global payroll processes.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global payroll team.
• Set strategic goals and objectives for the payroll department.
• Develop strong stakeholder relationships.
• Oversee complex multi-state and international payrolls.
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
• Monitor changes in payroll laws globally.
• Prepare and analyze payroll reports.
• Lead the evaluation and optimization of payroll systems.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT departments.
• Drive special projects related to payroll.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 10+ years of progressive payroll experience.
• Experience with global payroll systems.
• Expertise in managing international payroll operations.
• Proven track record of building and managing a payroll team.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of payroll laws.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with AI is a plus.
