Director of Payroll - Remote

Overview

The Director, Payroll is responsible for all functions and deliverables associated with processing payroll for over 20,000 employees across several North and Central American countries, ensuring compliance with applicable local, state and country legislation, organizational policies, and multiple collective agreements.

• Oversee bi-weekly, multi-state payroll for over 20,000 employees.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Manage internal and external audit compliance for payroll processes.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance departments for efficient payroll operations.
• Drive consistency across payroll processes within all operating companies.
• Provide analysis and reports to leadership for staffing and cost management.
• Integrate newly acquired companies into payroll processes.
• Develop strategies focused on efficiency and compliance.
• Lead and develop the payroll team.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of Payroll experience, with 5-7 years in leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Dayforce HCM experience preferred.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
