Overview

The Regional Account Executive for First Light Safety Products is a results-driven sales professional responsible for prospecting, building pipeline, and closing new business, operating remotely within an assigned territory.

In Short

  • Prospect and secure new business across school districts, school bus dealers, and parts distributors.
  • Drive new business acquisition through a proactive sales approach.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and communicate features and benefits.
  • Navigate and overcome objections to close opportunities.
  • Follow a structured sales process with attention to detail.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with dealers and distributors.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to achieve sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and report on sales performance.
  • Represent the organization at industry tradeshows and events.
  • Travel frequently within the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in inside and/or outside sales.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality experience.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Availability for frequent travel, including weekends.
