Privacy/AI Counsel - 12 Month Contract - Remote

Overview

This role involves serving as a strategic legal advisor on AI and data privacy, working closely with enterprise customers and internal teams to ensure compliance and governance in a rapidly evolving landscape.

• Serve as a subject-matter expert on AI, global privacy, and security.
• Drive post-acquisition governance for AI and privacy standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of in-house experience in AI and data privacy.
• In-depth knowledge of the GDPR and European data protection laws.
• Understanding of global privacy laws and regulations.
• Ability to translate legal complexities into business insights.
• Experience with cloud and incident management tools.
• Experience working with product and engineering teams.
• CIPP/CIPM/CIPT or similar certifications preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Strong business-oriented judgment and decision-making.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.
