Fullstack Software Engineer (Contractor) - Remote

Overview

As a Fullstack Software Engineer contractor at Slang.ai, you will be responsible for implementing robust backend services in Kotlin and contributing to frontend features in TypeScript/React, enhancing customer engagement through conversational AI.

In Short

• Design and implement backend services using Kotlin and JVM ecosystem.
• Develop GraphQL queries and mutations for client-server communication.
• Contribute to React frontend components as needed.

Requirements

• Experience with Kotlin and TypeScript/React.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and Firestore.
• Knowledge of Docker and Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of unit testing and integration testing.
• Ability to work within EST business hours.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with telephony integrations (Twilio, Dialogflow) is a plus.
• Ability to design and implement scalable backend services.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Proven ability to write clean, maintainable code.
