System and Software Validation and Verification Lead - Remote

Overview

The SkyGrid team is looking for a System and Software Validation and Verification Lead to own the planning and execution for all aspects of systems validation, verification, and integration in the aerospace industry.

In Short

• Define and document the system integration, validation, and verification strategy.
• Oversee and execute the system integration, validation, and verification activities.
• Develop system validation and verification plans, procedures, and reports.
• Identify the system and subsystem test setup, instrumentation, and environment for black-box systems.
• Technical oversight for a team of validation and verification engineers.
• Lead program planning and execution of system integration activities.
• Implement manual and automated testing approaches.
• Manage verification testing of multiple software and hardware configurations.
• Collaborate with external customers in integration and testing activities.
• Participate in Critical Design Reviews and conduct Test Readiness Reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or related STEM degree.
• 10+ years of experience in a highly technical, aerospace-related industry.
• 5+ years of experience as a technical team lead.
• Experience with SAE ARP 4754A or equivalent.
• Relevant experience with simulation environments.
