Electronic Design Lead - Remote

Overview

The Electronic Design Lead at SkyGrid will oversee all electronic hardware associated with the Strata program, coordinating supplier components and leading the hardware team to ensure compliance with performance requirements and regulatory guidance.

• Lead the hardware team for the Strata program.
• Generate hardware Source Control and Interface Control Drawings.
• Develop component-level requirement specifications.
• Conduct Electrical Loads Analysis.
• Create planning documentation for electronic hardware certification.

• Manage a team of electronic hardware engineers.
• Establish best practices for system design and verification.
• Act as the primary contact for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with project objectives and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• B.S. in Engineering/STEM with 10+ years of experience.
• Leadership experience in electronic hardware development.
• Experience with electronic hardware testing and build.
• Familiarity with Visio or Lucid charts.
• Knowledge of RTCA DO-160, DO-380, and DO-254 standards.
• Strong communication skills for conveying technical concepts.
• Ability to manage and inspire a team.
• Experience in requirements management and system architecture design.
