In Short

• Audit & Improve: Review our existing Rivet Design System, identifying inconsistencies and opportunities for enhancement.
• Design System Development: Build, refine, and document reusable components in Storybook (React) and Showkase (Android) to improve developer adoption.
• Figma Integration: Ensure our design system aligns seamlessly with Figma, optimizing component libraries and documentation for designers.
• Code & Collaborate: Write and improve component-level front-end code, working alongside engineers to ensure high-quality implementation.
• Accessibility & Performance: Advocate for accessibility (a11y) best practices, performance optimizations, and scalable front-end architecture.
• Cross-Team Communication: Act as a bridge between designers and engineers, ensuring design intent is properly translated into code.

Requirements

• Extensive experience working with and maintaining design systems.
• Deep expertise in Figma, Storybook (React), and Showkase (Android Design System Management).
• Strong front-end development skills, particularly in React/TypeScript and a solid understanding of Android UI frameworks.
• Experience working with tokens, theming, and scalable component architecture.
• A keen eye for design details, user experience, and accessibility best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with both design and engineering teams.
