Senior Cloud Platform Engineer I - Remote

Overview

Signifyd is looking to hire a Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our cloud-based infrastructure. You will lead a team of highly skilled engineers in maintaining and automating a vast cloud-based computing environment supporting Signifyd’s decision platform.

In Short

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud-based services.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure provisioning.
• Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.
• Drive an evolution of services to support cloud-native managed services.
• Enhance cloud infrastructure security, focusing on engineering security solutions.
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment.
• Define and maintain cloud engineering best practices and standards.
• Optimize applications for cloud deployment.
• Evaluate emerging cloud and DevOps technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex engineering issues and provide solutions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Extensive expertise in Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of best practices for cloud environments.
• In-depth knowledge of networking principles and security best practices.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills in a collaborative environment.
• Experience in Infrastructure-As-Code best practices (Terraform).
• Experience in software development in high-level languages.
• Understanding of Cloud Observability and Monitoring tools.
