Instrumentation Service Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Instrumentation Service Specialist is responsible for providing technical expertise and performing instrument services, including maintenance and calibration, at various locations.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance for instrument services.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration at various locations.
• Assess instrument problems and recommend repairs.
• Develop and implement SOP for maintenance processes.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to instruments.
• Prepare technical documents and presentations.
• Assist in training for new equipment and methods.
• Communicate with vendors for resource coordination.
• Comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related sciences.
• 3+ years of instrumentation and calibration experience.
• Experience in a regulated commercial lab environment.
• 1+ year of protocol and report writing experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of testing methods.
• 5+ years of experience in the oil, gas, and chemical industry preferred.
