Overview

The Instrumentation Service Specialist is responsible for providing technical expertise and performing instrument services, including preventative maintenance and calibration at various locations.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance on instrument services.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of instruments.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to software and hardware.
• Develop and implement SOP for maintenance processes.
• Assess instrument problems and recommend repairs.

• Assist in training for new equipment and software.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
• Comply with SGS standards and ISO requirements.
• Report results to customers as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related sciences.
• 3+ years of instrumentation and calibration experience.
• Experience in a regulated commercial lab environment.
• 1+ year of protocol and report writing experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of testing methods.
• 5+ years of experience in the oil, gas, and chemical industry preferred.
