Customs Consultant / Zoll Expert as Customer Service Consultant - Remote

Overview

The Customs Consultant will serve as the first point of contact for customs services for national and international clients, managing customs declarations and providing support on customs-related inquiries.

In Short

• First point of contact for customs services for national and international clients
• Responsible for customs declarations (export, import, shipping declarations, etc.)
• Validation and control of customs instructions
• Interface between clients, sales, back-office, and customs
• Reporting based on existing systems
• Complaint management in collaboration with clients, customs, and back-office
• Advising and supporting clients and colleagues on customs issues
• Remote work partially possible

Requirements

• Completed commercial and/or technical training with relevant professional experience in customs
• Experience in logistics or freight forwarding is desirable
• High sales, customer, and service orientation with strong communication skills
• Very good German and good English skills (B2 level)
• Ideally, first experience with common customs software solutions and MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
