Site Reliability Engineer for Jira Data Center - Remote

Overview

ServiceRocket is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to improve the performance and reliability of our customers' Jira Data Center instance, while addressing root causes of incidents and reducing incident rates.

In Short

• Monitor application and infrastructure health using Datadog.
• Conduct web application performance investigations for Jira and Confluence.
• Install, configure, and upgrade Jira and Confluence Data Center applications.
• Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure for Atlassian deployments.
• Perform maintenance including backups and capacity planning.
• Plan and implement integrations of Jira and Confluence.
• Collaborate with IT teams and developers to implement best practices.
• Enforce security best practices and manage user access.
• Document system architecture and operational procedures.
• Stay updated on Atlassian product updates and IT industry trends.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence Data Center.
• Strong expertise in infrastructure setup and high availability.
• Experience with API integrations and enterprise applications.
• Proficient with Linux/Windows server environments.
• Experience managing databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with Datadog for performance monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
