Technical Writer - Emerging Talent Intern - Remote

Overview

As a Technical Writer - Emerging Talent Intern, you will have the opportunity to build upon your skills and knowledge while contributing to critical work as part of a core team within the Experience Team at ServiceNow.

In Short

• Creating product documentation for end users and system administrators.
• Learning to author in a variety of environments, primarily DITA/XML.
• Researching, writing, and ensuring the accuracy of content for product releases.
• Working closely with development teams in an Agile environment.
• Conducting peer reviews of documentation.
• Collaborating with other information developers to produce various content types.
• 6-month full-time internship program.
• Location: Open to all locations in the United States (Remote and onsite).
• Hourly competitive pay based on experience.
• Relocation stipend offered, if applicable.

Requirements

• Actively enrolled university students or recent graduates are not eligible.
• Passion for Technical Writing with minimal relevant job experience.
• Ability to commit full-time during program dates.
• Experience in leveraging AI in work processes is a plus.
• Ability to understand and learn technical products and concepts.
• Experience in markup languages such as DITA, HTML, XML is a plus.
• Ability to obtain information through research and interviews.
• Collaborative interaction with peers from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to provide writing samples demonstrating research and analysis skills.
