ServiceNow is seeking an outstanding attorney with 6+ years of experience to join their dynamic legal team as Legal Counsel - Procurement, playing a key role in streamlining and automating the global procurement function.

In Short

• Support global procurement efforts by reviewing and negotiating various commercial contracts.
• Serve as a liaison between business units and the Legal Department regarding procurement.
• Provide advice on procurement contract matters and enhance legal review processes.
• Support continuous improvement of standard agreements and legal processes.
• Work on high visibility matters supporting strategic business objectives.
• Preserve the value of ServiceNow’s intellectual property.
• Proficient drafting and legal technical skills required.
• Experience in integrating AI into work processes is a plus.
• Ability to manage global process changes in procurement risk management.
• Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills are necessary.

Requirements

• Law degree and active license to practice law.
• 6+ years of relevant legal experience, especially in-house.
• Significant experience in negotiation of complex procurement contracts.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster collaboration.
• Desire to positively impact the organization.
• Self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with software and technology, especially AI, is desirable.
• Understanding of data privacy and commercial law related to procurement.
• Flexibility to support U.S. time zones may be required.
