Data Credit Risk Analyst - Remote

Overview

We're looking for a Credit Risk Analyst to join our team! In this role, you'll be instrumental in analyzing our credit programs, developing risk models, and ensuring we stay ahead of industry trends.

In Short

• Perform ongoing analysis of the company's various credit programs.
• Assist in developing and monitoring key metrics for our credit programs.
• Complete quarterly static pool analysis.
• Develop and prepare profitability analysis, credit loss analysis, and credit loss forecasts.
• Present your analysis, conclusions, and recommended actions to relevant stakeholders.
• Develop operational reports to monitor credit performance and business performance.
• Coordinate the preparation and presentation of analysis to applicable personnel.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors, manage existing products, review potential future products, and coordinate their integration.
• Maintain strong relationships with other departments to obtain necessary data.
• Provide assistance to other departments as needed.
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance.

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years in financial analysis or risk analysis. Experience in the consumer loan or auto finance industry is a plus!
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in SQL for data analysis and extraction.
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to parse and analyze large datasets.
• Computer literate with strong MS Office skills.
• Analytical & Communication Skills:
• Excellent organization, analytical, and problem-resolution skills.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the company, including field, corporate, and executive teams.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance is preferred.
