Overview

The Oregon Department of Justice’s Division of Child Support (DCS) is seeking to hire a Child Support Case Manager (Entry) for our Gresham office. This role involves supporting parents to support children through the child support program.

In Short

  • Position requires attention to detail, consistency, and organization.
  • Work hours are 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • Review case documents to determine child support orders.
  • Contact customers and service providers for information gathering.
  • Establish, modify, and enforce child support orders.
  • Apply federal and state laws and agency policies.
  • Verify payment disbursement and accuracy of claims.
  • Complete and file legal documents.

Requirements

  • Three years of experience working with the public or a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience using personal computers and typical software.
  • Ability to maintain professional composure in challenging situations.
  • Adaptability to changes in job processes.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to complete assignments independently and on time.
  • Experience in legal documentation preferred.
  • Must pass a comprehensive background check.
