Overview

As a Packaging Operator at Saputo, you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of production packaging equipment while contributing to a growth-driven work environment.

In Short

• Operate production packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Set-up and replenish packaging equipment.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) without deviation.
• Generate and verify pallet identification labels.
• Perform routine equipment adjustments and clean-up operations.
• Complete production records accurately.
• Communicate any out-of-specification product conditions.
• Work in a 24/7 manufacturing facility with shift flexibility.
• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
• Engage in meaningful development opportunities and community contributions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in food manufacturing.
• Experience in dairy food manufacturing preferred.
• Understanding of food manufacturing acronyms (e.g., SQF, HACCP).
• Lift truck certification or ability to obtain one.
• Strong math and technical skills.
• Ability to operate and understand equipment controls.
• Shift flexibility required.
• Hands-on role in a night shift position.
