Overview

The Mix Maker Operator at Saputo is responsible for safely mixing dairy products according to calculated formulas while following all safety rules and regulations. The role involves monitoring equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met.

• Operate pasteurizing equipment and monitor temperatures and pressures.
• Mix products according to specified formulas.
• Follow all GMP and HACCP requirements.
• Complete paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Check and recognize flavors of raw ingredients and mixed products.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Report food safety or quality issues to management.
• Assist in implementing corrective actions for quality problems.
• Disassemble and sanitize equipment associated with mixing operations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous forklift and manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in food operations is a plus.
• Knowledge of GMPs and safety regulations is advantageous.
• Ability to follow detailed written and oral instructions.
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
