Overview

The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for supporting leasing operations, managing tenant communications, and coordinating maintenance requests to ensure optimal property management.

In Short

  • Respond to rental inquiries via phone, email, or messaging platforms.
  • Schedule virtual or in-person property tours for prospective tenants.
  • Assist with leasing paperwork and follow up on signatures.
  • Conduct market research for optimal rent pricing.
  • Monitor tenant messages and provide updates on maintenance and leasing.
  • Log and track maintenance requests and coordinate with vendors.
  • Draft property performance reports for owners and investors.
  • Enter and track vendor invoices for payment processing.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding work schedules and payments.
  • Escalate complex tenant issues as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience in property management is a plus.
  • Proficient in using property management software.
