Overview

The Support Technician (Pro T2) will provide service and technical support for customers and consumers as part of the Pro Technical Support department at Savant Systems, Inc., a leader in home control and automation.

In Short

  • Provide excellent customer service and technical support.
  • Participate in training to gain necessary competencies.
  • Conduct service engagements through various communication channels.
  • Utilize technical documentation and training for support.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Practice detailed database management for service engagements.
  • Represent the company positively in all communications.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of English for communication and documentation.
  • Detail-oriented and able to follow specific processes.
  • Empathetic communication skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Knowledge of smart home technology and troubleshooting.
  • Discipline in following business process workflows.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two years of related experience in technical support.
  • Home automation experience preferred.
  • Experience with CRM processes preferred.
