Field Service Technician - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Field Service Technician for Sartorius Stedim Switzerland AG, responsible for providing technical service for Bioprocess Instruments in Switzerland. This role aims to enhance service success and improve customer satisfaction.

In Short

• Provide 1st level support for assigned product line during customer visits.
• Perform installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance, and qualification tasks.
• Conduct troubleshooting for technical issues and propose suitable solutions.
• Create detailed service reports and ensure compliance with regulatory documentation.
• Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate recommendations.
• Build positive relationships with customers for successful collaboration.
• Travel approximately 80% within the assigned region, with occasional travel to Austria and Southern Germany.
• Fluency in German and English is required.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology environment is advantageous.

Requirements

• Degree as a certified technician or equivalent vocational training in relevant fields.
• Several years of experience in technical field service.
• Experience in troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining technical devices.
• Familiarity with cleanroom environments and GMP/GDP applications.
• Strong customer orientation and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
• Willingness to adapt to flexible working hours.
• Strong communication skills in German and English.
