Field Service Engineer - Remote (D.C./Baltimore Area)

Overview

Sartorius is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support its Bioprocess Solutions Portfolio. This role involves providing service and support for Bioprocess products while ensuring excellent customer interaction.

In Short

• Provide timely service and support for Bioprocess products.
• Act as the primary liaison between North America customers and colleagues.
• Perform installations, repairs, calibrations, and maintenance.
• Generate service revenue by selling service contracts.
• Maintain documentation and communicate effectively with management and customers.
• Manage inventory of company parts, equipment, and tools.
• Travel up to 90% to support Field Service activities.
• Proficient in MS Office software.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of Field Service experience, preferably in Biopharmaceuticals.
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 and GMP/GDP requirements.
• Valid Driver’s License and Passport required.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and support.
