Field Application Specialist - Remote

Overview

In the Field Application Specialist role, you will be responsible for offering product expertise, application knowledge, and technical support at each step of the customer's process and for bringing the products' technical expertise and market knowledge to the sales team.

In Short

• Direct collaboration with Sales Managers to sell Sartorius Octet products.
• Provide high-level technical support for clients' support requests and troubleshooting needs.
• Deliver technically sound presentations of Sartorius Octet products at promotional venues.
• Travel to client sites for installation and product demonstrations.
• Provide feedback for product improvement through client support.
• Must have a valid Driver License with a good driving record.
• Willing to travel overnight up to 50% as required.
• 4+ years of laboratory research experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life science, biochemistry, or a related field.
• Customer support and training experience in technical material is preferred.
• Demonstrated aptitude towards the selling process.
• Results and success-oriented with proven organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven software skills, e.g. Microsoft Office.
• Master's degree in life science, biochemistry, or related field is valued.
• Attention-to-detail mindset and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Able to analyze complex technical issues and provide solutions.
