Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Collections, Cash Application, and Customer Service Specialist, managing accounts receivable functions and resolving customer inquiries.

In Short

  • Monitor and manage assigned accounts for timely collection of outstanding balances.
  • Contact customers to follow up on past-due invoices.
  • Negotiate payment plans and resolve disputes.
  • Research and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Apply incoming payments accurately to customer accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve unidentified payments.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly.
  • Work with internal teams to improve processes.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team for accurate financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Up to 36 months of experience in collections or accounts receivable.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-focused mindset.
  • Experience in high-volume accounts receivable environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of GAAP principles.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and payment portals.
