Principal BI Engineer - Remote

In this role, you’ll be responsible for both designing and building complex data models as well as providing architectural guidance to our growing team of developers. This is a unique opportunity to lead from the front as both a strategic thinker and an expert implementer, working on cutting-edge big data technologies and leading initiatives that drive real impact.

• Lead the design of scalable data models and architecture.
• Provide architectural guidance to BI developers.

• Experience in cloud-based environments (AWS preferred).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience building data solutions using BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).
• Proven experience leading and mentoring data developers.
• Strong experience in performance tuning and optimizing SQL queries.
• Experience in cloud-based environments (AWS preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
