SafeNow is a startup dedicated to providing safety to everyone in the world for free through an app that connects users with local helpers. We are a small team based in Munich, looking for a passionate new team member to tackle new challenges in a fast-paced startup environment.

In Short

• Responsible for the strategic development of company culture and organizational development.
• Point of contact for employees on all people-related topics.
• Manage the recruiting process, including coordination and collaboration with agencies.
• Handle labor law matters in collaboration with our external law firm.
• Develop salary structures and benefits in collaboration with management.
• Onboard new employees and continuously improve the onboarding process.
• Conduct regular employee reviews to foster feedback and personal development.
• Optimize and scale HR processes for a growing company.
• Organize team events to promote team spirit and company culture.
• Ensure a pleasant and productive work environment.

Requirements

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
• 5+ years of experience in People & Culture or HR management, ideally in a fast-growing startup.
• Experience managing external service providers and agencies in HR.
• Knowledge of labor law.
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented work style.
• High social competence, empathy, and communication skills in German and English.
• Preferably residing in or around Munich with regular office presence (remote possible but not preferred).
