Field Technical Support Technician - Remote

Overview

The Field Technical Support Technician will be responsible for installing, setting up, commissioning, and troubleshooting Safe Fleet equipment at various customer sites across the US and Canada.

In Short

• Travel to customer sites for installation of Safe Fleet equipment.
• Setup and verify new units ensuring they are operational.
• Troubleshoot and repair defective components.
• Provide training to customers and technicians.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• MECP Basic Installation Technician Certification or Electronics Engineering Technician Diploma.
• Minimum one year experience in mobile installations.
• Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Computer and basic networking skills.
• Ability to install and program mobile surveillance products.
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 90% of the time).
• Ability to work non-standard shifts and weekends.
• Proficient in using hand tools safely.
