Overview

The Controller is a key financial leader within the Video Group, responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, reporting accuracy, compliance, and internal controls across U.S. and Canadian entities.

In Short

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls and compliance.
• Lead preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Provide variance analysis and financial insight for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian and U.S. tax laws.
• Manage and mentor a small finance team.
• Partner with cross-functional teams for financial processes.
• Support system improvements and financial process automation.
• 7–10 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience required.
• CPA designation required.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing financial reporting in a multi-entity environment.
• Experience in SaaS or subscription-based businesses is a strong asset.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10–15% to U.S. offices.
