QA Engineer - Remote

Overview

Script Portability is part of RVOH’s Pharmacy & Care Services group which sits at the intersection of health care and retail, connecting patients with prescription drug discounts and providing consumers with more affordable access to care. To evolve these products, we are looking for a strong QA engineer who embodies our team values of Always be shipping, Outcome Obsession, Constant Vigilance (against threats and downtime), Simplification (of our technology landscape), and Software as a Team Sport. In this role, you will interact with multiple stakeholders and deal with significant complexity and ambiguity.

In Short

• Design, write, execute, and maintain automated tests for APIs, platform and UI software.
• Assess the current set of automation tools and framework and make recommendations on our automation strategy.
• Execute all components of product testing such as functional, regression and end-to-end testing.
• Make recommendations to improve product reliability, performance, and quality.
• Investigate and evaluate new testing technologies and products.
• Integrate and maintain automated tests as part of a CI pipeline (GitHub Actions or CircleCI).
• Work collaboratively with product stakeholders to identify bugs, process improvements and facilitate requirement gathering.

Requirements

• We are looking for QA Engineers interested in defining, enacting, and enforcing best practices for software quality throughout our technology stack.
• 4+ years of experience in software development, debugging and testing production code.
• Proficiency in JavaScript.
• Proficiency in DataDog and BrowserStack.
• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure.
• Comfortable with building and automating test environments.
• Experience with manual and automated front-end testing.
• Proficiency in QA and automation tools such as Bruno or Postman, Shell scripts, Selenium, Cypress or similar UI test frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Continuous Integration.
• Strong understanding of QA concepts and proven abilities in the following areas: software testing, test case writing, and automated script development.
• Very strong communication skills.
