Ruby Labs is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to support our finance team in managing financial operations, reporting, and compliance. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to gain hands-on experience in financial management and accounting processes.

In Short

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, reviewing all items for accuracy.
• Support the Financial Controller in maintaining general ledger accuracy across multiple entities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support and overview accounts payable and receivable.
• Support audit processes and tax compliance.
• Assist in the development of internal controls and process improvements.
• Manage and support the accountants team.
• Assist the Financial Controller with ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in managerial accounting or controller assistant role.
• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
