RSM is seeking an Assurance Manager to join our public sector assurance practice, providing high-quality client service and managing audit engagements for various organizations.

In Short

• Lead audit engagements for public sector and not-for-profit organizations.
• Ensure timely, high-quality client service and satisfaction.
• Supervise and mentor audit teams, including Seniors and Supervisors.
• Assess risk and design audit procedures accordingly.
• Maintain ongoing client communication throughout the year.
• Develop relationships with clients and identify business growth opportunities.
• Manage project profitability and performance improvement opportunities.
• Stay updated on GAAP and industry developments.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the year.
• Participate in professional development and training initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• CPA, CA, or ACCA certification.
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring staff.
• Knowledge of audit services and GAAP.
• Record of building sustainable client relationships.
• Minimum of 4 years of team lead experience.
• Bilingual in English and French preferred.
