Overview

As a Seasonal Trust & Safety Agent at Rover, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's reputation by providing exceptional customer care and ensuring the safety of the Rover community.

In Short

  • Work as front-line support for escalated customer issues.
  • Assist customers with emergency situations related to pet and community safety.
  • Conduct incident investigations and enforce marketplace standards.
  • Handle inbound/outbound calls, emails, and SMS messages.
  • Required to work weekends and holidays during a 5-month contract.
  • Participate in a paid training period from May 12th to June 20th, 2025.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and uphold Rover's brand image.
  • Gather documentation for eligibility in Rover Guarantee claims.
  • Work independently with limited supervision.
  • Meet personal performance metrics regularly.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of customer service experience in a contact center environment.
  • 2+ years in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Preferred experience in veterinary clinic or pet industry.
  • Ability to remain empathetic in high-stakes situations.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Strong communication skills over phone, email, and text.
  • Ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
  • Experience identifying root causes of service issues.
  • Proficiency with web-based applications like GSuite and CRM tools.
  • Must have a reliable internet connection.
