Staff Developer (Temp-to-Hire) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a remote Staff Developer for a 4-month contract, with the potential to be extended to 12 months or become a permanent employee, working on apps used for space capabilities and cutting-edge technologies.

In Short

• Full-time, W-2, remote, temporary role.
• Duration: 4 months minimum, possible extension or permanent position.
• Focus on designing mission-critical applications and systems.
• Requires 8+ years of development experience.
• Need expertise in web app development, Java, and/or Kotlin.
• Experience with front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Expert-level knowledge of React, Apache, .NET, and SQL Server.
• Comfortable with Linux and/or Windows development lifecycles.
• Must be a US Citizen residing in the USA.
• Bonus points for SAFe Agile and containerized software experience.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in development.
• 4+ years in web app development.
• 2+ years using Java and/or Kotlin.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript ES6+).
• Expertise in at least one object-oriented programming language.
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows development lifecycles.
• Ability to work closely with design teams.
• Comfortable acting as Development Lead when needed.
• US Citizenship and residency in the USA required.
