People Operations Lead - Remote

Overview

As a Founding People Operations Lead, you will establish and scale our people function from the ground up, shaping our organizational culture and building essential HR infrastructure.

In Short

• Build foundational HR infrastructure including policies, performance systems, and compliance frameworks from the ground up.
• Own the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through performance management and career development.
• Partner with leadership to develop compensation philosophy, job leveling, and equity frameworks.
• Drive culture and engagement initiatives while maintaining compliance with employment laws.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 2 years in a senior HR business partner or people operations role.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
• Experience with HR technology stack including HRIS and ATS.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence and advise leadership.
• Proven track record building HR functions at early-stage companies.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
