People Operations Lead - Remote

Overview

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who can design and run core people systems while building the scaffolding for scale. You’ll own end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, lead our compliance infrastructure, and implement the systems that help us move faster without dropping the ball.

In Short

• Take full ownership of employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, and transfers.
• Lead a vendor evaluation process for HRIS and payroll provider.
• Implement a global background check process.
• Evaluate and clean up existing HR systems for data hygiene and usability.
• Support execution of People Programs autonomously.
• Finalize and roll out updated core policies and employee handbook.
• Partner with IT and Finance for systemic improvements.
• Establish repeatable onboarding/offboarding experiences.
• Operationalize a scalable, data-driven People Ops engine.
• Develop a roadmap for future People systems and policies.

Requirements

• Experience managing an HR tech stack.
• Strong project management and process design skills.

• Proven track record in high-growth startup environments.
• Understanding of HR compliance and employment law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
