As an Account Executive at Retool, you will own deals from start to finish, managing multiple deals concurrently and alleviating prospects’ pain points by demonstrating the value of Retool's development platform.
In Short
Identify and qualify leads into high-value opportunities.
Build relationships at executive levels to understand needs and simplify the deal process.
Own the closing process, including negotiations and procurement activities.
Maintain Salesforce with customer information and forecasts.
Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to meet revenue objectives.
Collaborate with technical stakeholders to identify opportunities for Retool.
Partner with sales engineers to create relationships within key accounts.
Work with Engineering to deploy new features that increase Retool's value.
Requirements
Experience managing end-to-end SaaS sales cycles with a $1M+ quota.
2-3 years of experience in a closing sales role.
Track record of success in driving activity and quota achievement.
Preferred experience in developer tools, cloud infrastructure, or business intelligence.
Solution-based approach to selling and managing a sales process.
Excellent presentation and listening skills.
Hands-on approach to learning technical concepts.
Strong desire to learn and adapt as products evolve.
