Technical Writer - Remote

Overview

The Technical Writer at Restaurant365 is responsible for producing comprehensive product documentation and training materials to support both internal and customer-facing needs.

In Short

• Create, update, and maintain existing documentation.
• Collaborate with Product Managers on product changes.
• Review in-product terms and wording with Designers.
• Develop FAQs and troubleshooting articles.
• Manage documentation updates in a timely manner.
• Analyze existing documentation for style and content continuity.
• Work with various business units for documentation needs.
• Maintain in-product help menus.
• Track article feedback and analytics.
• Assist team members and customers positively.

Requirements

• Proven technical writing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to create and edit images/gifs for documentation.
• Experience in SaaS, accounting, payroll, or restaurants.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, help authoring solutions, Confluence, and Jira.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
