Project Consultant - Remote US (Short-term Consultancy)

Overview

The Formula project consultant will provide direct support to Dr. Frieden in organizing, preparing for, and executing the promotional tour for his forthcoming book. The primary goals of this project are to promote understanding of and support for public health; improve the effectiveness of public health implementation; and support RTSL organizational positioning.

In Short

• Short-term full-time consultancy from August through December 31, 2025 for a maximum of 40 hours per week.
• This role will be required to travel domestically within the US (30 to 40% travel estimated) and work flexible hours including evening and weekend as needed.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Dr. Frieden during the promotional schedule.
• Manage timelines and coordinate with stakeholders efficiently.
• Ensure successful planning and execution of all book-related events.
• Develop and implement a system for material preparation and approval.
• Track version control and completion of briefing materials.
• Assist with overall coordination of publicity and promotional efforts.
• Provide logistical support during events, including transportation arrangements.
• Systematize and oversee book orders, shipments, and distributions.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in high-level executive administrative support or project management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute tasks efficiently.
• Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience in book launches or event logistics is desirable.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
