In Short

• Support the CVH team by strengthening national legal frameworks regarding health.
• Provide legal guidance on trans fatty acids, sodium reduction, and hypertension control.
• Review existing laws and regulations in public health initiatives.
• Assist governments and partners in legal analysis and strategy development.
• Support the development of legal tools at various levels.
• Conduct capacity building activities with in-country partners.
• Ensure legal documents reflect policy priorities.
• Engage in legal or policy research as needed.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor, LLM, or equivalent degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in legal work related to policy analysis or regulatory reform.
• Experience working with government ministries on public health legislation.
• Experience in low- and middle-income countries.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate complex issues clearly.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Time-management skills.
