Overview

As a Software Engineer in Trust & Safety, you will build interfaces, services, tooling, and enforcement pipelines to maintain a safe email platform for developers.

• Build and maintain internal services for enforcement, throttling, and policy rules
• Design automation pipelines for detection, decision, and action
• Connect with core infrastructure: databases, queues, caching layers, and observability stacks
• Implement safeguards to prevent over-blocking
• Collaborate with teams to create actionable workflows from raw signals
• Ensure enforcement actions are traceable with logs and metrics

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Fluency in English
• Deep experience with Node.js, TypeScript, React
• Proven experience with databases and performance tuning
• Infrastructure and reliability skills
• Understanding of safety and fail-safe operations
• Comfort with APIs and event-driven architectures
• Care for observability: metrics, logs, tracing
• Ownership across the stack
• Experience in trust, safety, fraud, or security domains
