Software Engineer - Trust & Safety Engineering - Remote

The Trust & Safety Engineering team is critical to this mission, focusing on combating abuse and ensuring compliance with the changing legal landscape of the internet.

In Short

• Join the Trust & Safety Engineering team at Cloudflare.
• Work on the entire software development lifecycle for internal and customer-facing software.
• Utilize technologies such as Golang, Rust, Kafka, Redis, Kubernetes, Terraform, Temporal, and PostgreSQL.
• Design and build tools and services to support Trust and Safety efforts.
• Collaborate with legal and product teams to develop scalable solutions.
• Improve system design and architecture for compliance and anti-abuse services.
• Participate in on-call rotations for production services.
• Mentor and guide developers within the team.
• At least 3 years of experience in software development is required.
• Remote candidates in the US will be considered.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building large-scale software applications.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and/or gRPC services.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Prior experience with Go or Rust is preferred.
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
• Expertise in writing well-tested code.
