Sales Account Manager - Remote (Automation)

Overview

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships with OEM customers, ensuring products are specified to maintain and increase revenue.

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships with OEM customers.
• Ensure products are specified to meet revenue objectives.
• Develop comprehensive technical knowledge of products.
• Obtain specifications and approvals at engineering firms.
• Assist divisions in planning strategy for assigned accounts.
• Provide product training at distributor and customer levels.
• Motivate and provide sales direction to distributors.
• Keep management informed of competitive products and market changes.
• Work from home office and travel as needed.
• 3+ years of Sales and/or Applications Engineering experience required.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree.
• 3+ years of Sales and/or Applications Engineering experience.
• Experience in Direct and/or Distributor sales.
• Experience selling Automation products (e.g., Controllers, PLCs).
• Ability to serve general Industrial clients (e.g., Mobile EV, Life Science).
• Ability to work from a home office.
