In Short

• Act as a subject matter expert for payroll in Japan.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders in Payroll Implementation, Finance, and Engineering.
• Process full end-to-end payroll, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
• Focus on KPIs and SLAs for payroll operations.
• Implement and improve payroll processes.
• Mentor and support payroll specialists.
• Backup regional managers during absences.
• Work in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Fluent in English, Japanese speaking preferred.
• Experience working remotely is a plus.

Requirements

• Experience in payroll management or equivalent.
• Knowledge of payroll best practices.
• Proficiency in software tools like SAP, Excel, and Google Sheets.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to adapt to asynchronous work.

• Fluent in English; Japanese language skills are a plus.
• Ability to improve and speed up work processes.
