Overview

Remote Recruitment is looking for a highly organised and detail-driven Legal Administrative Assistant to support our legal and compliance operations remotely. In this role, you will assist with drafting documents, managing correspondence, maintaining records, and ensuring all administrative functions within the legal team run smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a legal background who enjoys working in a structured, remote environment.

In Short

  • Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
  • Maintain and organise digital legal files and case records
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, calls, and deadlines for the legal team
  • Assist with legal research and summarising findings for team review
  • Manage incoming and outgoing legal correspondence professionally
  • Track contract renewals, compliance deadlines, and regulatory submissions
  • Liaise with clients, counterparties, and external counsel as needed
  • Support preparation of presentations, reports, and briefing documents

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a legal administrative or paralegal role
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, contract structures, and documentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in document management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Experience with document management systems advantageous
  • Relevant legal or administrative qualification preferred
