Finance & Accounting Analyst - Remote

Overview

Relay Commerce is building a portfolio of software solutions to help merchants scale e-commerce and simplify their marketing tech stack. This role is for a Finance & Accounting Analyst with 5–7 years of experience to support multi-entity accounting operations and business unit financial reporting.

In Short

• Support month-end close and business unit financial reporting.
• Work hands-on in QuickBooks Online, Ramp, Syft, and Google Sheets.
• Prepare monthly variance analysis and dashboards.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Identify inefficiencies and improve financial processes.
• Own deferred revenue recognition across SaaS products.
• Translate financial data into actionable business insights.
• Collaborate with business unit leaders on financial performance.
• Document financial processes and improve workflows.
• Support audit preparation and strengthen controls.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of accounting or finance operations experience.
• Experience with month-end close and reconciliations.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of US GAAP.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly.
• Availability for 4–5 hours overlap with US Eastern Time.
