Business Initiatives Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Business Initiatives Analyst to join ReFED’s Business Initiatives & Community Engagement team. You will deepen ReFED’s capabilities to develop, deliver, and apply business analytics and insights related to food waste in support of ReFED’s growing business network.

In Short

• Refine data models and manage data collection for Business Services client projects.
• Project manage data reporting for Pacific Coast Food Waste Commitment.
• Support delivery of Custom Roadmaps and explore data improvements.
• Conduct research on business solutions related to food waste.
• Support business development and client management, including CRM tracking.
• Research opportunities for thought leadership on business data and analytics.
• Manage large data sets and translate data into actionable insights.
• Demonstrate strong technical skills in Excel and data visualization.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Thrive in a role that requires independent initiative and attention to detail.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience in business analytics or related fields.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables.
• Ability to create compelling presentations with data visualizations.
• Familiarity with CRM tools (preferred).
• Familiarity with low/no-code automation tools (preferred).
• Strong communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Comfort with navigating ambiguity and overseeing multiple projects.
